Frederica's time travel adventures addition:3
I woke up at 12 this morning. i got up and looked around i was in a strange land where a sertant group of people were not treated as human beings, but as tools. They did all the house work. There dollar worth was around hundred dollars. i thought to my self this is moraly wrong, but what could i do to change something thats been happening for years, with one objection? of all the places i had been this truly upset me the most. later on the day i came across a local newspaper. I was shocked to read that i had not traveled back in time. These very same things are still happening today.

Frederica's time travel adventures addition:2
WOW! China is every thing i thought it would be and more.Ive always heard interesting stories about there culture. One of the things I found most suprising was how similar there veiws were on the birth of twins compared to those of the Sans. The only difference is they would kill the daughter not the son. These people also believed that women should have small feet. Not just your average small foot but a foot three inches in length. They would achieve this by wraping there foots.I found this to be quite strange. While i was there i got to meet some members of the shang dynasty. This was a major honor because they were the first dynasty. There culture is amazing. the lesson I took away from this trip was to take advantage of all the oppurtunitys that are handed to me, because even though its hard to succesed in america as a female, i should be thankful, because its twice as hard there.

Frederica's time travel adventures addition:1

I've been on this adventure for a week and so far I have met these amazing people called the Sans. On my first encounter with these remarkable people I found it hard to understand there language, but I am now starting to pick up on there unique clicking communication. It is a completly different world here, they rely more on each other then technology, because they dont have it.The San women are a key component to there survival.I was very surprised to see that some of the elederly women had more power then expected, because of womens roles in other cultures.Among all the things i saw in there culture I also witnessed a ritual that truly saddended me.When a San women has twins it is seen as an omen so in order to rid the tribe of this bad omen one twin must die, and because girls are needed to bear children , if it is a boy and a girl twin it is the boy twin that is choosen to die. This experience made me thankful for the time we live in, and showed me that we can learn alot from these incredible humans. How to be strong, resilient, and how to survive under unbearable circumstances
